Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I get an eye exam?
The Eye Site recommends that every adult schedule a comprehensive eye exam annually.
What is an optometrist?
An optometrist is a healthcare professional who provides primary vision care to children, adolescents, and adults.
What does it mean to have 20/20 vision?
When we see that you have 20/20 vision, it means that you can see an object clearly from 20 feet away. However, 20/20 vision does not mean “perfect ” but “normal” vision.
If we saw that you have 20/30 vision, it would mean that you would need to move 10 feet closer to an object than someone with 20/20 vision.
When should children get their first eye exam?
We recommend that a child get an eye exam as early as six months. If you notice your child squinting or struggling with headaches, it may signify that they need glasses.

“The Eye Site is an awesome place to go for an eye check! We could walk around and check out the glasses while waiting to be called back. The staff was accommodating. My exam was informative and quick. When I walked out, the staff had selected some frames for me to try on based on my frame preference!”
